Public Consultation on Environmental and Social Principles and Standards
Overview
On 25 March 2008, the EIB launched a public consultation on its Environmental and Social Principles and Standards.
The public consultation included two rounds with three consultation meetings that were held in Brussels and in Warsaw.
Following the consultation process, the EIB's Board of Directors approved the Bank's new Environmental and Social Principles and Standards on 3 February 2009.
The timetable below provides an overview of the main steps of the consultation as well as reference to the relevant documentation that was issued and received during the process.
